New Member Information
Interested in joining Upper Montgomery Composite Squadron (MD 332)
Two types of membership:
1) Adult Leaders
Full Senior Member: Holds military grade; can wear USAF-style uniform
Costs

Annual Dues: $65 (Full)

Uniform: ~$50 minimum (CAP polo)
Application steps

Attend three meetings to learn more about the program.

Complete and submit your application and fingerprint card to the squadron commander for review and signature (checks payable to "Civil Air Patrol."

Complete Level I to include Cadet Protection Policy Training.

Choose a duty assignment and get involved.
2) Cadets
Age
Must be at least in 6th grade and a minimum age of 12; can join as a cadet until 18 years old, but can remain a cadet until 21st birthday.
Costs
Uniform: $ 60 one-time fee to squadron + cadet/parents to purchase boots and shoes
Blues: May receive up to $175 voucher from CAP after 1st promotion towards blues pants/skirt and shirt/blouse and other items needed to complete uniform (amount of voucher is based on financial need).
ABUs: Squadron has used ABUs in many sizes; cannot guarantee a perfect fit.
The squadron will purchase (from the $60 fee) name tape, patches, a belt, a tee-shirt, boot blousers, ABU hat, and tan t-shirt.
